Managers are increasingly aware of e-consultation tools and the role they can play in helping Councils and other public bodies engage with their communities.
But implementing Section 138 "Duty to involve" (GGPIH Act 2007), and meeting other commitments to consult requires more than a general awareness. It needs an appreciation of how best to invest new technology, and how to extract real value from such investments.
