Performance Management Framework: Update

Dear PMF Participant,

Following the transfer of responsibility for managing the PMF process from Ian Law to myself in April 08 I have been taking this work forward and will hope to publish the next PMF report covering January to March 08 by the Monday 14th July via an e-mail to all contributors.

Once the report is published I hope to be able to announce a series of workshop events for PMF participants to be hosted at various locations throughout the UK. The themes have yet to be finalised but it is likely that the topics will include:

• Avoidable Contact: Local Government and National Indicator 14.
• Avoidable Contact: Central Government and the Service Transformation Agreement, Progress Measure 1.
• Call Centre Accreditation.
• Improving the PMF template and realising maximum benefits for contributors.

It is anticipated that there will be more than one workshop on each topic.

The timetable for future submissions is as follows and I look forward to receiving your returns and any suggestions and questions relating to the PMF process and planned workshops.

• April to June 08 PMF to be returned by Thursday 31 July.
• July to Sept 08 PMF to be returned by Friday 31st October.

The template for the next PMF round will be published on the Contact Council area of the Cabinet Office website at the end of this month and can be downloaded from there.
